Abstract

["European Journal of Education, Volume 61, Issue 3, September 2026. ", "\nABSTRACT\nThe broad concept of ‘metaverse’ encompasses all future digital items. To maintain their accessibility and longevity, systems in areas of life such as education and learning should be changed to embrace this notion. The metaverse, the applications that use it, and the historical changes that brought the metaverse to its current condition have all been covered in a number of publications. The project aims to look into how metaverse technology affects interactive learning in higher education. In order to do this, the study must evaluate how well students view the metaverse system as a teaching tool and how well it is currently in use. Participants were chosen via purposeful sampling according to how well‐versed they were in the subject. Out of 400 participants, 342 valid responses were given by university students. The theoretical framework, construct validity, and questionnaire reliability were assessed using statistical software such as SPSS, MS Excel, and AMOS. The relationships between the elements of the theoretical structural model were investigated using the AMOS software suite. The validity and reliability of the measurement model were evaluated using SEM. The results show that the performance of fulfillment, self‐efficacy, perceived ease of use, and perceived utility of metaverse technology all have a beneficial impact on higher education e‐learning. The conclusions of this study's findings will be crucial in assisting educators, decision‐makers, and other stakeholders in integrating new technology into existing teaching methods and enhancing student learning.\n"]
